That TransLink and City staff report to Council, through the Public Works & Transportation Committee, on the results of the monitoring of the #480 introductory bus service noted above, and that Council be advised of any required routing and service changes, based on public feedback and service performance. | ||

Jindra Repa, President of the Rotary Club of Richmond, provided information on the "Walk for the Richmond Food Bank" to be held at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, May 28th, 2000, commencing at Garry Point Park. | ||

Jon Lee-Son, representing the Youth Week Planning Crew, spoke about the purpose of Youth Week, which amongst other things, was to provide a positive influence to local youth. Information was also provided on the events which were held to kick-off Youth Week - May 5th to May 13th, 2000. The Mayor and Council were then presented with Youth Week T-shirts. | ||

XXXXX XXXXXX, XXXX XXXXX, XXXXX, Delta, spoke on video game violence, and he requested the support of Council to regulate such games. A copy of the material which he provided to Council is on file in the City Clerks Office. |

Richmond's 2 MPs and 3 MLAs to advise that the City is concerned about this issue, and that they be asked if they can provide assistance in this matter; | ||
(b) |
the Film Board of Canada and to the film classification group which rates movies, to determine if the rating of video games would be within their jurisdiction; | ||

the Office of the Attorney General; | ||
(d) |
Richmond's Senate member; and | ||
(e) |
the Greater Vancouver Regional District municipalities, for their information. | ||
