Mayor Brodie opened the proceedings at 7:05 p.m.

Zoning Amendment Bylaw 8689 (RZ 10-528329)

(7251 St. Albans Road; Applicant:  Yamamoto Architecture Inc.)

In accordance with Section 100 of the Community Charter, Councillor Derek Dang declared himself to be in a potential conflict of interest as he is part owner of the property on St. Albans Road, and left the meeting at 7:07 p.m.

In response to queries regarding the Spruce tree on the subject site, Brian  Jackson, Director of Development advised that the tree is structurally defective and will not survive the construction phase. He was requested to ensure there would be consideration given to larger replacement trees, during the Development Permit application process.
