Mayor Brodie announced that Howard Jampolsky has been re-appointed to the Vancouver Airport Authority Board of Directors for a three-year term to expire at the Board’s Annual General Meeting in 2017. |

|
Councillor Barnes provided background information regarding Mystic, Connecticut’s waterfront and maritime museum, noting that a best practice visit would be beneficial to the development of the Steveston waterfront. |
|
|
|
As a result, the following motion was introduced: |

That Cllr. Linda Barnes be authorized to travel to Mystic, CT for the purposes of a best practices study, in conjunction with previously budgeted travel to the 2014 FCM annual conference, and that the source of funds for the incremental travel costs for the Mystic, CT portion of the trip to a maximum of $1,200.00 be paid from the Council Contingency account. |
