ENDORSEMENT OF THE FEDERATION OF CANADIAN MUNICIPALITIES (FCM) NATIONAL ACTION PLAN FOR HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

 

 

That:

 

 

(1)

The Federation of Canadian Municipalities National Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness recommendations be endorsed, with acknowledgement that the proposed housing targets should be considered minimum targets, given the need in the Metro Vancouver region; and

 

 

(2)

Council’s resolution be sent via a letter of support to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities with a copy of said letter to the Metro Vancouver Board.
