Paul Stoneman, 9851 Seacastle Drive, expressed concern related to unauthorized living accommodations and the number of families moving into new single-family homes in the area of Williams Road and No. 5 Road. He spoke of traffic congestion and the lack of parking in the area as a result of garages being converted into living space. Mr. Stoneman was of the opinion that the current zoning bylaw does not address the need for additional parking when a lot is subdivided. He was also concerned about the impact the higher density in the area is having on the local elementary school. Mr. Stoneman asked that this application be postponed until planning staff address some of the concerns he expressed. |
