STAFF RECOMMENDATION |

(1) |
That the report (dated September 14, 2004 from the Chief Administrative Officer) entitled “Richmond Streetcar Feasibility Study” be received for information; and, |
|
|
(2) |
That Council provide direction to staff if it is their preference to forward a copy of the “Richmond Streetcar Feasibility Study” to RAVCO with a request for its distribution to the two proponents of the Richmond-Airport-Vancouver Rapid Transit Project. |

STAFF RECOMMENDATION |
|
|
That Policy 3561 regarding Property Tax Exemptions be amended to: |
|
|
(1) |
reflect the new legislative references in the Community Charter; and |
|
|
(2) |
include the appropriate language from the repealed sections of the Local Government Act in order to continue to provide tax exemptions for non-profit organizations that lease municipally owned property. |
