Call to Order:

The Chair called the open meeting to order at 4:43 p.m.

CLOSURE OF THE COMMITTEE MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

		Committee hereby declares that the meeting held on Tuesday, February 12^th, 2008, is to be closed to the public, and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
		*Item 1*	*90(1)(d) - the security of the property of the municipality; and*
			*90(1)(m) - a matter that, under another enactment, is such that the public may be excluded from the meeting;*
		*Item 2*	*90(1)(i) - the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor- client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and*
		CARRIED

Those Present: Ron Beaman, Phyllis Carlyle, Kim Howell, Shawn Issel, Geoff Lake, Wayne Mercer, Debra Procter, and Shanan Dhaliwal.

		It was moved and seconded
		*That the minutes of the closed meeting of the Community Safety Committee held on Tuesday, January 15^th, 2008, be adopted as circulated.*
