That letters be sent to the Lower Mainland Flood Management Strategy Leadership Committee members, local MPs and MLAs, appropriate ministers, deputy ministers and assistant deputy ministers to communicate Richmond’s position on regional flood protection management.

(2)

That the Proposed Implementation Plan, which presents the Community Engagement Summary Report to the businesses and residents and initiates next steps to prepare the community for implementation of the City’s Single-Use Plastic and Other Items Bylaw No. 10000 as presented in the staff report dated June 16, 2021, titled “Single-Use Bylaw No. 10000 Community Engagement Summary report and Implementation Plan” from the Interim Director, Public Works Operations, be approved.
