That staff proceed with the introduction of a "24-Hour No Parking" regulation on Gilbert Road between Granville Avenue and Westminster Highway (as previously endorsed by Council on November 8, 1999). |

STAFF RECOMMENDATION |

(1) | That the on-going partnership and significant financial support from ICBC to enhance traffic safety in Richmond through the Road Safety Improvement Program be formally recognized and acknowledged by Council. |

(2) | That the various traffic safety improvement projects, (as described in the report dated November 23, 2000 from the Manager, Transportation), be endorsed in principle and that these projects be considered as part of the Capital Budget process. |
