Submissions from the floor:

 

 

Ms. D. Seiben, 9271 General Currie Road, cited the loss of privacy that had resulted from the removal of the existing trees from the subject property and the minimum required setbacks as her concerns regarding the application.

 

 

Ms. A. Seiben, 8671 Heather Street, questioned why the subject property had been preloaded and clear cut prior to the approval of the rezoning application.  Ms. Seiben was also concerned about the current loss of privacy.

 

 

In response, the Manager, Development Applications, Joe Erceg, gave advice that i)  the Development Permit process would allow for discussions with the developer on the matter of a privacy fence and landscaping for the three properties on General Currie Road; and, ii)  public notification of the Development Permit process would be to those properties within 50m of the subject property.
