Note: Bylaw 7263 received first reading on July 23, 2001 and was considered at the Public Hearing on August 28, 2001, at which time it was amended to change the Maximum Floor Area Ratio at 11388 Steveston Highway from 0.30 to 0.60 prior to receiving second reading. Council referred the amended bylaw to the September 17, 2001 Public Hearing for additional consideration.

Purpose:

To amend the permitted density in Comprehensive Development District (CD/34) by:

  • increasing the maximum floor area ratio from 0.60 to 0.64 at 11331 Coppersmith Way; and

  • clarifying that the maximum size of retail trade & services area is 6,333 m2 (68,170 ft2) at 11388 Steveston Highway with an additional 845 m2 (9,140 ft2) at 11331 Coppersmith Way.
