Mayor Halsey-Brandt opened the proceedings at 7:01 p.m.

1. ZONING AMENDMENT BYLAW 7152 RZ 00-173437)

(10595 McLennan Place; Applicant: Joe Uppal on behalf of Nargis Lalani))

Joanne Pulis, 10611 McLennan Place - attached as Schedule 1 and forms a part of these Minutes.

Submissions from the floor:

Joanne Pulis expressed her concerns regarding lot size and siting. The lot size is inconsistent with current properties in this area and the driveway access configuration would not allow for clear passage of vehicles.

Applicants Comments:

Holger Burke, Development Coordinator, referred to the report as presented.

Written Submissions:

Submissions from the floor:

Mr. Dana Westermark, 21 - 4111 Garry Street, said that the proposed amendment would have long term affects that should be considered. Economically viable transit would be affected as would land values, which would rise and impact affordable housing. It would also be difficult to find property for townhouse development.
