Call to Order:

The Chair called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.

AGENDA ADDITIONS (AND DELETIONS) AND COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING COMPLIANCE FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS

It was moved and seconded

That a bylaw enforcement matter be added to the agenda as an additional item and that this item be deemed in compliance with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

90(1)(f) – law enforcement, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the conduct of an investigation under or enforcement of an enactment; and

90(1)(i) – the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

CLOSURE OF THE COMMITTEE MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

Committee hereby declares that the meeting held on January 4, 2016, is to be closed to the public, and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Items 1 to 4

90(1)(e) -    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality.
