Call to Order:

The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.

AGENDA ADDITIONS (AND DELETIONS) AND COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING COMPLIANCE FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS

That Item No. 5, be deleted from the agenda;

(2)

Committee hereby declares that the meeting held on Monday, December 12, 2011, is to be closed to the public, and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Items 1, 3 & 4

90(1)(e) -           the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality; and

Item 2

90(1)(k) -           negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public.

The meeting was recessed at 6:08 p.m.

The meeting reconvened at 6:25 p.m., with all members of Council present except Councillor Derek Dang.
