The Mayor advised the Committee that Item No. 2 had been withdrawn from the agenda. |

AGENDA ADDITIONS (AND DELETIONS) AND COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING COMPLIANCE FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS |

That the matter of Olympic Sports Medicine, be added to the agenda as Item 2; and | |
|

Council hereby declares that the meeting held on Monday, October 6, 2008 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter: | |

Item 1 |
90(1)(i) - the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and |
|
|
|
|
Items 1 & 2 |
90(1)(k) - negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public. |
