2010 OPERATING BUDGET AND 5 YEAR FINANCIAL PLAN (2010-2014)

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

(1)

That the 2010 Operating Budget with net expenditure increase of $5.16M be approved and form the basis of the City’s 5 Year Financial Plan (2010 – 2014).

(2)

That the Council approved 2010 Capital Budget be amended to include the Hamilton Daycare project increase from $1.11M to $1.77M.

(3)

That the proposed 5 Year Financial Plan (2010 – 2014) be approved; and

(4)

That staff undertake a process of public consultation prior to adoption by Council as required in Section 165 of the Community Charter.
