Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. |

10100 SEVERN DRIVE – APPEAL OF ORDER TO COMPLY |

Discussion took place on the large undertaking of this task and as a result of the discussion the following motion was introduced: |

It was moved and seconded |
|
|
That the appeal for the Order to Comply issued for contraventions of Unsightly Premises Regulation Bylaw No. 7162 related to the property at 10100 Severn Drive be adjourned until September 20, 2021. |

The question on the motion was not called as in reply to queries from Council, Edward Wong, representing the applicant, advised that (i) two of the three derelict vehicles will be removed, (ii) the boxes in front of the garage are filled with books, newspapers and magazines that need to be disposed of, and (iii) due to the extreme heat it was difficult to work outside to complete the job. |

In response to a query from Council, staff noted that the Fire Department will be assessing the boxes on the property to ensure it is not a fire hazard. |
|
|
The question on the motion was then called and it was CARRIED with Cllrs. Hobbs and McPhail opposed. |
