Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.

CLOSURE OF THE COMMITTEE MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

It was moved and seconded

Council hereby declares that the meeting held immediately following the Open Special Council Meeting to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012, is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Items 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15

90(1)(a) - personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality;

Items 1, 2 & 3

90(1)(e) -    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality; and

Item 16

90(2)(b) -   the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government, or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.

That  the minutes of the Regular (closed) Council Meeting held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 be adopted as cirulcated; and

to receive for information the minutes of:

(1)

the closed meeting of the General Purposes Committee held on Monday, November 19, 2012;

(2)

the closed meeting of the Planning Committee held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012; and

(3)

the closed meeting of the Public Works & Transportation Committee held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
