That the Chief Administrative Officer and General Manager of Law and Community Safety be authorized to negotiate and execute on behalf of the City a licenceagreement between Lafarge Canada Inc. and the City for the use of a portion of 7611 No. 9 Road as a fire fighter training facility, on the terms and conditions outlined in the staff report entitled “Training Site at 7611 No. 9 Road – Richmond Fire Rescue” and dated November 29, 2011;

 

 

(2)

That the capital and operating costs for the training facility be considered as part of the 2012-budget process; and

 

 

(3)

That staff be directed to meet with the owners of the property to the north of the proposed site and to report back to Council if the neighbours express any concerns prior to the execution of the agreement with Lafarge Canada Inc.
