Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:01 p.m.

CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009, is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Items 1, & 2

90(1)(e) -    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality; and

Item 3

90(1)(c) -    labour relations or other employee relations.

At 4:02 p.m., Mayor Brodie announced that the Regular (Closed) Council meeting would be recessed until the conclusion of the Special (Closed) Council meeting. 

The Regular (Closed) Council meeting reconvened at 4:09 p.m..
