Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:02 p.m.

That

(1)

Item 3 be withdrawn from the agenda;

(2)

That Affordable Housing, be added to the agenda as Item 5; and

(3)

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Item 1

90(1)(a) - personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality;

Items 2, 3 & 5

90(1)(e) -    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;

Item 4

Various, as different section of the closed meeting criteria pertain to each separate item as originally presented to Council;

Item 4

90(1)(n) -    the consideration of whether a council meeting should be closed under a provision of this subsection or subsection (2);

Item 5

90(2)(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.
