Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:00 p.m.

AGENDA ADDITIONS; CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

It was moved and seconded

(1)

That the report regarding the acquisition of property be added to the agenda as Item No. 3(A); and

(2)

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11^th, 2007  is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following item on the agenda of this meeting complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Items 1, 3 and 3(A)

90(1)(e) - the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;

Item 2

90(1)(a) - personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality; and

Item 4

90(1)(c) - labour relations or other employee relations.
