Call to Order:

Mayor Brodie called the closed meeting to order in open session at 4:00 p.m., and announced that the meeting would be recessed until the conclusion of the closed General Purposes Committee meeting.

The Special closed Council Meeting reconvened at 6:12 p.m., with Mayor Brodie and Cllrs. Barnes, Chen, Sue Halsey-Brandt, Howard, McNulty and Steves present.

CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6^th, 2006 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following item on the agenda of this meeting complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

90(1)(e) -    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality.
