Call to Order:

Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:00 p.m., and advised that the meeting would be recessed until the conclusion of the open and closed meetings of the General Purposes Committee.

RES NO.

The Special (closed) Council meeting reconvened at 9:55 p.m., with all members of Council, including Cllr. Dang, present, and with Acting City Clerk, George Duncan.

CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

It was moved and seconded

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20^th, 2005 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following item on the agenda of this meeting complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
