Call to Order:

Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:03 p.m., and immediately declared the meeting recessed until the conclusion of the closed meeting of the General Purposes Committee.

The meeting reconvened in open session at 5:45 p.m. with Cllr. Barnes present.

CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

It was moved and seconded

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7^th, 2005 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Item 1

90(1)(g) – litigation or potential litigation affecting the municipality; and

Item 2

90(1)(e) -  the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality.
