Call to Order:

Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:00 p.m.  He advised that Item No. 1 would be dealt with at the end of the agenda; and that Item No. 4 had been deleted from the agenda.

CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24^th, 2005 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following item on the agenda of this meeting complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

Item 1

90(1)(m) - a matter that, under another enactment, is such that the public may be excluded from the meeting;

Item 2

90(1)(e)    the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;

Item 3

90(1)(a)    personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality.
