Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:00 p.m.

AGENDA ADDITIONS (AND DELETIONS); CLOSURE OF THE COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY CHARTER CLOSED MEETING CRITERIA

It was moved and seconded

(1)

That an oral report from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the Status of the RAV Access Agreement, be added to the agenda as Item 5; and
 

(2)

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27^th, 2004 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following item on the agenda of this meeting complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
 

Item 1

90(1)(b) - personal information about an identifiable individual who is being considered for a municipal award or honour, or who has offered to provide a gift to the municipality on condition of anonymity; and

Items 2 and 4

90(1)(e) - the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;

Item 3

90(1)(g) – litigation or potential litigation affecting the municipality; and

Item 5

90(1)(k) - negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public.
