Mayor Brodie called the meeting to order in open session at 4:04 p.m.

It was moved and seconded

(1)

That the following matter, Steveston Interurban Restoration Society Tram, be added to the agenda as Item 3; and

(2 )

Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13^th, 2004 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the following items on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

 Item 1

90(1)(k) - negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public;

Item 2

90(1)(a) - personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality; and

Item 3

90(1)(g) litigation or potential litigation affecting the municipality.
