Public Notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of Council duly called in accordance with Sections 223 and 224 of the Local Government Act, to be held on:

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following:

 

CALL TO ORDER

 

	1.	councillor kumagai reconsideration of motion regarding the expansion of gaming
		MOTION
		That Part 2 and 3 of the following resolution (S02/4-09) adopted by Council on May 29th, 2002, be rescinded:
		(1) That the BC Lottery Corporation be advised of Councils selected gaming policy by May 31st, 2002; (2) That the BC Lottery Corporation be advised that the City's preferred service provider for a full service casino is the current community casino service provider; and (3) That the BC Lottery Corporation be requested to not relocate any casino licences to the City until the resolution of the Great Canadian Casino lawsuit.
